Leadership for Change

bulletDoes your organization, school, or community have an issue or concern which needs to be resolved?
bulletDo you believe that you can contribute to the successful resolution of this issue?
bulletDo you want to improve or have additional knowledge and skills to be a leader for this change?

Leadership for Change is an intensive and extensive education and training program for leaders and "wannabe" leaders who have a particular task upon which to focus which requires new insights and/or a different approach.  It is for those who have the desire and commitment to address these questions. By the end of this course, you will have

bulletDefined systemic issues which confront any leader;
bulletLearned skills of leadership;
bulletA plan of action to use to address your situation; and
bulletHave a support network to assist in the implementation of that plan.

Achieving the best resolution requires good leadership skills as well as having a broad perspective and confidence in your problem solving ability.  As a participant in this program, you will

bulletlearn the elements with which leaders must contend,
bulletexplore the situation in which your particular issue exists,
bulletdetermine your interactions with the various elements,
bulletassess how you can improve, and
bulletcreate an outline of how to accomplish your goal.

Leadership for Change is an intensive and extensive education and training program

bulletproviding multiple levels of leadership knowledge and skills,
bulletenabling participants to cooperatively and collaboratively address issues and challenges within their organization, school, or community,
bulletenabling grass roots people to successfully address challenges in their organization, school, or community, and
bulletensuring personal, family, social, and economic growth.

Leadership for Change culminates in the design of a cooperative and collaborative leadership plan for each participant to use in their situation. It integrates, with appreciation of systemic concerns, these major components.

bulletThe structural analysis model of the Anatomy of an Organization which uncovers the essential elements of an organization; what each brings to the organization; and the challenges of their interactions, to assess ways to address organizational issues.
bulletThe group dynamics of Bonding not Banding which focuses on issues and values that defines groups and explores how they can be used to be inclusive or exclusive.
bulletThe problem resolution of the Comprehensive Resolution Model which defines the selection, implementation and evolution of comprehensive and efficient solutions for even the most complex problems.
bulletThe often unconscious tradeoffs of Decision Making which explores the components of decision making to learn about the tradeoffs which are made, often unconsciously.
bulletThe conflict experience of Dignity, Justice & Peace which unpacks difficult situations; explores the dynamics of the situation; and highlights the personal challenges each brings to resolve the difficulties.
bulletThe joy and team building of Getting to Know You which brings participants together with cooperative and collaborative exercises to create trust and support.
bulletThe personal awareness of Success which brings to the fore personal skills and capabilities to define what each participant does "naturally, and lays the foundation for a "skills ban."
bulletThe grounding of The Sufficiency Paradigm which focuses on the continuum of resources availability to determine what is necessary through understanding what is enough, what is too much, and what is not enough.

The major components of Leadership for Change may be experienced as part of the integrated whole or as individual programs. As an individual program, each component is open to anyone who wants to realize its goals, whether or not they are, or want to be a leader.
