The Anatomy of an Organization

The Anatomy of an Organization exposes the anatomical structure of conflict in an organization, school, or community to assess the best way to address it. This is achieved by  an organization. Each major component of conflict is an independent source of conflict with its separate identity and manifestation. These components, and their sub-components interact with each other, creating layers of issues and complex interactions forming an organizational conflict system.

The Anatomy of an Organization:

bullet

defines, analyzes, and illustrates the major components of conflict in an organization, school, or community;

bullet

describes how and why each component contributes to the conflict being addressed;

bullet

determines the most logical place to begin to resolve the conflict; and

bullet

suggests what resources are required to resolve the conflict.

Standard theories of organizational systems are used to describe the sources and their interactions.

Regardless of your leadership role, you have a strong interest to see that conflict is resolved and good decisions are made.  You know that conflict can arise and you will be required to resolve it.

Conflict can be the source of creativity or the source of chaos. Understanding the anatomical structure of conflict allows you to choose the path you want. To select the best course of action, The Anatomy of an Organization provides you with the insight and knowledge to reduce incidents of conflict and to minimize the conflict when it occurs in your organization.

In this seminar, we will:

bullet

discover competing interests;

bullet

explore available strategies and tactics;

bullet

experience seeing conflict as a system;

bullet

learn elements of the conflict system; and

bullet

explore how to creatively use the system.
